Hunter spent the first years of her life moving around from Arizona to California, Maryland, North Carolina, and Okinawa, Japan. She moved to Flagstaff and attended Northern Arizona University. Throughout her nomadic life, she developed a strong sense of empathy and the ability to adapt quickly. She loves to listen to old vinyl records, float on the Colorado River (but any body of water will do), and spend time with family.
