Happy Hour History Tours by The Arizona Biltmore

Kick off the weekend at the Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort. The Happy Hour History Tours will guide through the landmark’s legendary Frank Lloyd Wright architecture and glamorous past. Listen to stories of worldly dignitaries, U.S. Presidents, and glitterati of Old Hollywood including Marilyn Monroe. The tour runs every Friday evening and includes two of the resort’s most iconic libations, the Catalina Spritz and the Tequila Sunrise. Projection mapping conceives a constantly changing virtual landscape, an imagined environment that attempts to merge the space between the physical and the virtual. This thought provoking work is sure to leave you questioning your own perception of place and self.

Meet Me Downtown Phoenix is designed to build healthy bodies, healthy businesses and a healthy Downtown. Join the community for a social walk/run through the heart of our city. Get fit, win prizes, shop local and make friends. Check in at Copper Blues from 5:15 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., then run/walk 3-5 miles, or as far as you’d like. A route guide will be provided. After your for walk/run join in on the closing ceremonies with awards and prizes. Participants will get a stamp to receive discounts at select local restaurants.
Fourth of July Freedom Fest at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

Celebrate America’s birthday during the Eighth Annual Fourth of July Freedom Fest. Catch concerts under the stars three nights in a row, Monday, July 2 – Wednesday, July 4 on the Princess Lagoon Lawn with energetic live music and military parachutist jumps from the All Veterans Parachute Team. Concerts begin at 8:30 pm. Don’t miss nightly family fun including foam parties, poolside games and music. A one-of-a-kind vintage airshow will take place on July 4th. More than 28 military aircrafts that flew in WWII, Korea and Vietnam will fly over the resort, piloted by retired veterans. Air shows will conclude with a military parachutist from the All Veterans Parachute Team soaring through the skies and landing with an American flag.
3rd of July Fireworks at Harold’s Cave Creek Corral

Fabulous Phoenix 4th features one of the largest fireworks displays in the Southwest attracting 100,000+ participants. This is a non-alcoholic, family-oriented event. Two stages will feature local entertainers, and a variety of vendors will offer festival-style food and beverage. Stroll through arts and crafts, interactive exhibits and a classic car display. Lots of fun for the kids including rides, inflatables and a water spray zone in Kids’ World.
