No license and age 17 I showed-sold the “Mushroom House”. She knew the home and nothing about the license laws being broken! After graduating from nursing school she passed the Illinois real estate exam in 1972. She worked on the luxury Lakeshore Drive & Gold coast area of Chicago. The developer & company became the largest conversion firm in the US. As Regional VP Sales, she would become licensed in Illinois, Wisconsin, Texas, California, Arizona & Florida. The U of San Diego school of law had a sponsorship program where she became a certified para-legal in construction defects & contract law. She enjoyed working with new construction in CA and in Phoenix. She was a race committee volunteer America’s cup sailing activities & anything else that could get her on the water. Like many midwest families the Arizona sun beats out Chicago winters! I tried Miami, Fl and found Az is home. Five decades and RE is still magical!
