Scott Brown

Scott moved to sunny Arizona from Philadelphia in 2006 after visiting twice to escape the long dreary winters. After his second visit, he returned to Philadelphia and immediately put his home on the market to move to the beautiful, sunny weather of Arizona. He had only visited during the winter months and moved here in July so, needless to say, he was ill prepared for his first summer here. Fortunately, he has since acclimated to the “dry” heat of the summers and loves all of the outdoor activities and beauty that Arizona offers. He began his real estate career in 2001 in Philadelphia as a certified residential appraiser and obtained his real estate license in 2002. Upon moving to Arizona, he became licensed as a certified residential appraiser and realtor here, and continued in his career of helping his clients have the most stress free and best real estate experience possible when buying or selling.

Your perfect day?

My perfect day always consists of spending time with my daughter, regardless of what we are doing.

Your first job?

My very first job was going door to door in my neighborhood in Huntingdon Valley, PA, and asking people if I could mow their lawn. I was 12 years old and would push my lawn mower, trimmer, rake, and broom around the neighborhood and look for lawns that needed to be cut. I grew my little business to 25 repeat customers by the end of my first summer..

Your passions?

I am very active and love exploring new areas. I have visited just about every scenic spot in Arizona with one of my favorites being the hike into Havasu Falls.

Favorite vacation spot?

I have always enjoyed the Caribbean and one of my favorite islands to visit is Turks and Caicos. Gorgeous island that is small enough that tropical storms pass over quickly if they do come through. Some of the best diving and snorkeling in the Caribbean.

Favorite hobby?

My favorite hobby, and one of the primary reasons I moved here, is golf. As long as you don't mind rolling the dice on a heatstroke during the summer, you can play year round as opposed to the 6 month season in PA.

Favorite Movie?

Don't judge me.... Dumb and Dumber. Cinematic classic.

Favorite charitable cause?

Aris Foundation

Favorite Book?

Les Miserables Novel by Victor Hugo

Your favorite quote?

In a world where you can be anything - Be Kind!
